Getting into a Routine

It is wonderful when Will is home for a few weeks (days, really, in between his backpacking trip which was awesome) but it wrecks havoc on our routine. He returned to Chapel Hill last Friday – August 15th – and we are finally settling into our normal routine. Our “new normal” since Rick’s work days started this week and the first day of school is next Monday. But Rick is encouraged by his schedule and likes the new principal. He is looking forward to a new year and I am looking forward to him making coffee in the mornings. His coffee always tastes better than mine and the fact that he makes if without drinking any himself makes me feel loved! Somehow that simple act is a sure sign that there is order in the universe.
